Welcome to Grand View-on-Hudson, New York.
We are a self governing Village of about 300 residents nestled between the cliffs of the Palisades and the west bank of the Hudson River in Rockland County, just south of the Tappan Zee Bridge (NY Thruway I-287). We are about 30 driving miles north of Columbus Circle in Manhattan.
The Village was incorporated in 1918, and is situated between Piermont, our neighbor to the south, and South Nyack, our neighbor to the north. Our main street is River Road, which is known as Piermont Avenue to the north and south of the Village. We are part of Orangetown, one of five towns in Rockland County. Our Post Office is in Nyack, NY, 10960 .
